Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the user agreement within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the agreement is concluded, i.e. from your sign-up.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Dinusha Rasangi, Eggenwaldweg 55, 6020 Innsbruck, Österreich, email: hello@myrental.at) of your decision by a clear statement (e.g. by email). You can use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send your notice before the period expires.

Effects of withdrawal

Using Mietbar is currently free, so there are no payments to refund. After a withdrawal we delete your account and data unless there is a legal retention duty. You can also have your account deleted at any time – even after the period has expired.

Rental contracts between users

Owners and renters conclude rental contracts directly with each other. Between two private persons there is no statutory right of withdrawal under the Austrian Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (FAGG). If a business rents to a consumer, the business's own cancellation policy and the statutory rules apply; the right of withdrawal may be excluded for services related to leisure activities on a specific date (§ 18(1)(10) FAGG). Requests and confirmed bookings can be cancelled on Mietbar before the rental starts.
